At Studio Akiyo, each candle jar is mindfully poured, sanded, and sealed by hand in our studio, with close attention to detail at every step. This hands-on process ensures a smooth finish, lasting quality, and a vessel designed to be enjoyed well beyond the life of the candle.
As each vessels are mixed and poured by hand, slight imperfections, color variations & air bubbles may appear by nature. The followings are not considered a fault but a unique feature to each of our pieces and will not affect the performance of your candle. Always refer to our aftercare guide before using.

How to clean your jar
Once the candle has finished burning, allow the jar to cool completely. Bring water to a gentle boil and carefully pour it into the jar, leaving some space at the top. The remaining wax will melt, rise to the surface, and harden as the water cools. Once fully set, remove the wax disc and discard it in the trash. Wash the jar with warm water and mild soap, then dry thoroughly before reuse. Do not pour melted wax down the drain.
