Studio Akiyo was born in the midst of the pandemic, in January 2022 after I felt the need to turn my home into my very own sanctuary to rest and recharge. I quickly realized the lack of options for handcrafted candles & décor that inspires moment of rest and tranquility, with soft smells and colors.

As our homes are our safe places to recharge and recover from all the stimulation of the hectic world, the simplicity, calm and ease of neutral colors have a direct soothing and calming effect on our moods.

As someone who is ADHD and living with the constant overstimulation of life, I have implemented soft neutral colors around me and it helped me in every aspect of my life. The calm and peacefulness of my home has literally become my sanctuary & I started Studio Akiyo in the hopes to help others have more peace into their life.

Created for the scent sensitive like us - our scented candles are entirely handmade from the jar to the filling, using a clean burning natural soy wax a high-quality blend of paraben & phthalate free fragrances.

Because you too deserve to take a moment of pause without the fear of headaches.

Our creations are mindfully and intentionally handmade using only natural and sustainable quality ingredients. From our candles to our trays, each of our creations are individually hand poured in small batches in our studio located in Alberta, Canada.

We pride ourselves on being intentional in everything we do and each step we take is considerate to the environment with the purpose to reuse & recycle.

We are dedicated to minimize our impact on the environment by using sustainable packaging materials. From biodegradable peanuts to recyclable packaging paper, we are committed to understanding our environmental impact and making sure we are doing everything we can to make a difference.
