What makes Studio Akiyo's candle special?

From the jar to the filling, our wooden wick candles are entirely handmade in our studio located in Edmonton.

Each candle jar is poured, sanded, sealed by hand and then we use 100% natural soy wax with fragrances that are non-toxic (paraben & phthalates free).

What are the benefits of wood wick candles?

Wooden wicks provide a soothing crackle to emulate a gentle fireplace! Additionally, wood wicks create a horizontal flame which creates more heat for your candle quicker, thus increasing the scent throw and creating a slower burn.
