My name is Chloe, owner, creator & the hands behind Studio Akiyo - a handmade candles & homewares business based in Alberta/Canada.

Studio Akiyo was born in the midst of the pandemic, in January 2022 after I felt the need to turn my home into my very own sanctuary to rest and recharge. I quickly realized the lack of options for handcrafted candles & décor that inspires moment of rest and tranquility, with soft smells and colors.

As our homes are our safe places to recharge and recover from all the stimulation of the hectic world, the simplicity, calm and ease of neutral colors have a direct soothing and calming effect on our moods.

As someone who is ADHD and living with the constant overstimulation of life, I have personally implemented soft neutral colors & delicate scents in my home and it helped me in every aspect of my life. The calm and peacefulness of my home has literally become my sanctuary.

We are currently a small team of two who are dedicated to our mission of helping others have more peace into their life. Thank you for being here and supporting us on our incredible journey!

Our home fragrance products are formulated and created for the scent sensitive like us - because you too deserve to take a moment of pause without the fear of headaches. Our scented candles are entirely handmade from the jar to the filling, using a clean burning natural soy wax and a high-quality blend of paraben & phthalate free fragrances.

Our creations are mindfully and intentionally handmade using only natural and sustainable quality ingredients. From our candles to our incense sticks & trays, each of our creations are individually hand poured in small batches in our studio located in Alberta, Canada.
